Tomorrow I head to Tanzania for an incredible 5-week adventure. Throughout the trip, I will post stories and photos when I have internet access. The first stories and photos should be posted on July 17 about my visit to Gombe National Park with Dr. Jane Goodall. I will be there for a very special event on July 14th: the 50th anniversary celebration of Dr. Jane’s pioneering chimpanzee research and inspiring vision for our future.

July 11: Arrival to Kigoma, Tanzania
July 11-15: Kigoma/Gombe National Park with Dr. Jane
July 16-22: Zanzibar for the International Film and Arts Festival
July 22-30: Arusha and surrounding national parks
July 30- Aug 3: Kigali, Rwanda with LEAF International
Aug 3-6: trekking to see mountain gorillas in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park
Aug 7-10: &beyond Kleins Camp in Serengeti National Park; experience the Great Migration of zebra and wildebeest
Aug 10: Arusha Coffe Lodge and visit to Roots & Shoots Conservation Site in Moshi
Aug 11-15: &beyond Bateleur Camp in Masai Mara National Park in Kenya
Aug 16: Depart Nairobi for home
